ABSTRACT
There are indisputable pieces of facts that free radicals are responsible for the oxidative damage of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids, or nucleic acids in the structures of cell nuclei and molecular membranes. Maintaining the balance between free radicals and antioxidants is a precondition for staying healthy. Many of the naturally occurring antioxidants are now isolated, fully characterized and obtainable for various applications as prophylactic and therapeutic agents to restrain the unfavorable effects generated by ROS. Therefore, the current study has planned to assess the natural antioxidants for their chemical characterization.
