ABSTRACT
Plant based medicines have been used by mankind since time immemorial. Anxiety disorders are characterized by alterations in a assorted choice of neurochemical systems, suggesting ample novel targets for drug therapies. Each of these energetic areas of investigation holds promise for increasing and improving evidence-based treatment options for individuals suffering with clinical anxiety. Therefore, plant drugs have selected for the evaluation of its potential effects in the current research work. In Indian system of medicine plants, many plants have been prescribed for the treatment of CNS disorder.
