ABSTRACT
The construction sector is a major element of the economy in many countries, and it is frequently regarded as a driver of economic growth, particularly in emerging nations. Construction work, due to its generally labour-intensive nature, provides job chances for a diverse spectrum of trained, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers. Despite its significance, the construction business is seen as unsafe, with frequent and high accident rates and health concerns for workers, practitioners, and end users, particularly on today's high-rise building construction sites. However, understanding on how to address health and safety issues on high-rise building sites is lacking in Ethiopia. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing practice of health and safety management in high-rise building construction enterprises in Addis Abeba.
