The increasing consumer demand for natural and sustainable personal care products has led to significant advancements in herbal antidandruff shampoos. This review article critically examines the formulation, evaluation, and market trends of herbal antidandruff shampoos, focusing on their efficacy, safety, and consumer acceptance. The study highlights the benefits of herbal ingredients such as Neem, Aloe Vera, Tea Tree Oil, and Hibiscus, which exhibit antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. A comparative analysis with synthetic shampoos reveals that herbal formulations offer a safer alternative with minimal side effects.
